How will classes happen without teachers if sequestration occurs?
This is a very real scenario for kids of families stationed overseas, if there no agreement is reached by March 1 and sequestration takes place. Let's remember that on the line there are a budget cut of $55 million and further reductions.
The Department of Defense Education Activity is already preparing by developing a plan which includes to furlough teachers during the current school year and the question is how this would affect students, teachers, parents.
There is talk about combining classes. Do you think this is a good idea? Which measures would you take to accommodate classes with fewer/ rotating teachers?
